Riviere Ouareau - Les Cappucines @ 61 cms

Good Day!

Its been a while since no updates! Thats because I was busy paddling! Took some time off to go surf at Champlain while it was nice and prime, went and guided my first group down the Rouge in a raft and The highlight of the last few weeks was running the Ouareau River - Cappucines section. A continuous class III+ with one solid class IV thats about 1km  long. This was by far the most challenging river ive ran because it wasnt a big water  no consequences run like the Ottawa or the Rouge. There were pouovers/rocks/holes to avoid at this level unlike it usually is with more water where you can pretty much just stick to the middle!
Here are some go pro pictures and a litlle 3 minute video of the Cappucines rapid!
